The Hotel Residence Miramare is a villa-style hotel with panoramic views over the bay of naples and mount vesuvius, two kilometres from sorrento's main square, the piazza tasso.

The hotel is a good base from which to visit the local attractions which include the famous amalfi clifftop drive 10 kilometres away, the island of capri 13 kilometres away, and the Roman city of Pompeii 20 kilometres from the hotel Residence Miramare. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but the snack bar miramare serves continental breakfasts and light lunches on the terrace.
