Day 1
Board Liard Air's De Havilland Twin Otter and follow the flight path of Grant McConachie and other famous bush pilots who opened up the north country. Enjoy spectacular scenery as we cruise across the Coastal Mountains, BC's Interior Plateau and the giant expanses of Williston Lake before crossing the majestic Northern Rocky Mountains to Muncho Lake Provincial Park.

Day 2
Fly north from Muncho Lake over the Liard River and the southeastern Yukon to Virginia Falls (twice as high as Niagara Falls) and along the 3,000 foot deep Canyon System (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to Ft. Simpson in the Northwest Territories. Here we get our first sight of the Mackenzie River at its confluence with the Liard River. After lunch we follow the Mackenzie River northbound over the small native settlement of Wrigley to Norman Wells.

Day 3
The vastness of Great Bear Lake passes under our wings as we fly over the Arctic Circle enroute to Inuvik.

Day 4
The meandering channels of the river lead us to Tuktoyaktuk, the Mackenzie Delta and the Arctic Coast. Touring over the uninhabited, wide-open spaces of the northern Yukon brings us to the famous gold town of Dawson City. We enjoy the history of the buildings and town, and awe at the hardships that the pioneer gold diggers experienced in Dawson City.

Day 5
We soar over the mountain ranges of central Yukon to magnificent Kluane National Park. Mt. Logan, Canada's highest peak and an aerial tour of the impressive glaciers of the St. Elias mountain range are the highlight of the flight on Day 5. The Yukon's capital city - Whitehorse - welcomes us for the night.

Day 6
We leave the Yukon Territory and fly via Atlin and the Cassiar Mountains back to Muncho Lake.

Day 7
Enjoy a day of relaxing at the Northern Rockies Lodge... take advantage of the endless hiking, wildlife viewing and fishing opportunities. Join your group for a trip to the world famous Liard River Hotsprings.

Day 8
British Columbias largest provincial park and protected area, the Muskwa-Kechika Wilderness Area, is also known as the "Serengeti of the North". grizzly and Black bears, Caribou, Moose Mounatin Goats and Eagles are frequently observed as we wing our way back to the Pacific Coast and Vancouver.
