3 SELF-CATERING GITES WITH POOL SET IN 4 ACRES OF GARDEN AND GRASSLAND. COME AND ENJOY THE GITE HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE IN BONEN BRITTANY. Our gites have been recently converted from two longeres which stand in a courtyard position,with gravel car park,offering every modern convenience requried for a self-catering holiday. We have a 1 bedroomed gite and two 2 bedroomed gites all with upstairs shower room and WC. A large pool is available for your enjoyment and new for 2005 is a children's play area.

Attractions and Activities in the surrounding area iclude: Pony Trekking Boating Beaches Zoo's Museums Water Gardens Lakes Lac De Guerledan An 8 mile long lake just 15 minutes drive away. The rustic landscape and forest are favourite places for walkers,ramblers,mountain-bikers and horse-riders. The water sports centre is open all year with dinghies,rowing boats,pedalos and water-skiing. At the lakeside there are outdoor cafes, a beach and crazy golf for those who may not feel so energetic. Forges-des-salles A short footpath leads through the forest from the lake to the forges-des-salles. this hamlet has been reconstructed so you can see features of 19th-c. life with its workmen's cottages and chateau all furnished according to their original style. Concarneau An hours drive away is the prettiest walled city in Southern Brittany. It offers a fascinating contrast of the third largest fishing port for fresh fish and a beautiful walled city whcih can be reached only by a drawbridge. A must for a visit to Brittany. Closer to our gites is the Nantes Brest canal, only a 2 minute drive, with great walks and locks. There is also the lake at Plouray a 10 minute drive which has a children's play area,picnic spot, beach and boats.

Our Brittany holiday gites are situated 5 minutes drive from the market town of Rostrenen known as the crossroads of Brittany due to its central location. We are only 1 1/2 hours drive from the ferry ports of St Malo and Roscoff and easily accessible by air with daily flights from airports Birminghan to Brest and Stansted/Luton to Dinard where car hire is available. Our gites have been recently converted from two longeres which stand in acourtyard position, with a gravel car park, offering every modern convenience required for a self-catering holiday. We are located in the centre of Bonen a peaceful rural hamlet with a bar and stunning views over the neighbouring countryside a truly lovley place to relax and unwind. The pool is set in a large raised deck with ample sun loungers,chairs and fantastic views over our lake and wooded area. The pool will be open from May to September. Baby equipment is available free of charge we can supply; cots,highchairs,baby bath and stairgate. Rostrenen caters for all your shopping needs with a weekly market on a Tuesday morning,supermarkets,boulangeries,creperies and restaurants.
