Fugly Bali is a web site where you can report bad deeds (fraud,
police corruption, unethical behavior, etc.) and they will
publish it online for you and notify the Bali Tourism Authority
of what you have said (not that the tourism authority will
do anything of course). So if a police officer makes you pay
a "fine without receipt" while you are holiday in
Bali, Fugly Bali is the perfect place to let the world know
and make it more difficult for Bali's mafia police to afflict
others (although please also follow the corruption complaint
procedure outlined on our Bali Police
page).
You are of course welcome to post messages about police corruption
in Bali which affects / affected tourists / tourism on BLTF's
own forum but posts are only maintained for 12 months before
they get replaced by the following years messages, Fugly Bali
keep their reports / posts up permanently.

BLTF / Fugly Bali facts;
1) BLTF never used to link to Fugly Bali because they never
asked us to and because BLTF does not agree with everything
Fugly Bali says or does.
2) However, in October 2005 Jack Daniels of PT Bali Discovery
Tours in Sanur filed yet another police complaint against
BLTF's owner, Mark Austin claiming he owns Fugly Bali and
has libeled the police and himself on that site. Jack Daniels
has a history of filing false and malicious police complaints
using the much abused Indonesian code for criminal libel,
see Mark's actual warning site Bali
Discovery. Mr. Daniels latest complaint was made yet again
with a well known and well documented corrupt police officer,
Tri Kuncoro. As well as colluding with Mr. Daniels the Balinese
police know they are acting unlawfully against Mark Austin
because whoever owns Fugly Bali is outside Indonesian jurisdiction
anyway (Fugly Bali is a web site authored outside Indonesia,
in the English language and using North American web servers
- so none of the requirements for claiming jurisdiction are
met). So even if Fugly Bali was Mark Austin's site it is none
of the Balinese police's legal business. Of course that does
not stop such a corrupt and nasty police department from acting
unlawfully at the bequest of their colluding "friend"
at Bali Discovery Tours; it is rumored such follow-up complaints
cost Jack Daniels US$500 a time while the original complaint
cost him US$3000.
3) BLTF's owner, Mark Austin, does not own Fugly Bali. Anyone
that has a brain larger than their agenda will see by reference
to this site and Mark's Bali
Discovery site that he is quite open about what he owns
and writes and has no reason personally to say he does not
own something when he actually does. What is the point of
Mark calling police in Bali corrupt here on BLTF and on his
warning site yet denying he is calling the police corrupt
elsewhere? Corrupt Balinese police officers have made it clear
they do not like Mark Austin for calling them exactly what
they are, corrupt mafia police officers, and have even issued
an unlawful and un-jurisdictional summons against him for
libeling Jack Daniels and themselves which cites the death
penalty; this predates Fugly Bali. So why would Mark Austin
say he is not the owner of Fugly Bali if he really is? What
more are the Balinese police going to do to Mark if he did
own Fugly Bali, execute him twice?
4) After the corrupt Balinese police, despite there being
no evidence and their having no jurisdiction anyway, accepted
Jack Daniels / PT Bali Discovery Tours October 2005 complaint
that Mark Austin is the owner of Fugly Bali and had somehow
libeled them yet again by calling them corrupt, BLTF now links
to Fugly Bali with the greatest of pleasure.
