May I bring a guest with me?

There is no extra charge for a guest at the hotel; however, you will be responsible for your guest’s transportation. Additional nights lodging at the participants’ expense are generally available and may be reserved through your NCMEC coordinator.

Where will I be staying?

For sessions held at NCMEC headquarters you will be staying 3 blocks from NCMEC at The Old Town Holiday Inn Select® (480 King Street Alexandria, VA 22314-3102, 703-549-6080). The hotel provides free shuttle service to and from Ronald Reagan National Airport.

The Old Town Holiday Inn Select is a full-service hotel with an award-winning restaurant, garden courtyard café, indoor pool, sauna, and 24-hour fitness center. For more information regarding the hotel you may visit www.hiselect.com/axe-oldtown.

For your convenience you will automatically be enrolled in the Priority Club® program.

Will I need a car?

Renting a car isn’t a necessity. The hotel provides free round-trip shuttle service between the airport, and our training facility is approximately three blocks from the hotel. The hotel shuttle also delivers guests to and from the King Street Metro station, which provides direct access into Washington, DC, and other locations in Maryland and Virginia on this regional transit system. Additionally, several restaurants and shops within walking distance surround the hotel. If you choose to rent a car, you will be responsible for any costs incurred.

How do I find the shuttle?

Upon arrival either call the hotel directly at 703-549-6080 or use the touch screen by baggage claim that corresponds with the Old Town Holiday Inn Select. Provide your name, the name of your airline carrier, and the location of the terminal. Personnel at the Bellstand will make arrangements for pickup at the noted area in front of the designated terminal.

May I receive educational credits for attending these courses?

NCMEC courses typically comply with state certification regulations. Please contact your state representative for further criteria and details.
