In PA, you can view projects at three levels.

There are considerable advantages for a Project Office. A Project Office, or Program Office can look at consolidated information. For example, a Project Manager may be interested in looking only at the budget and expenditure for his or her project. The project may belong to a program and the Program Manager has an interest in seeing combined figures for all the projects in the program. The IT Manager may want to see the budget and expenditure for all project as a combined figure. All these views are possible in PA.
Each screen has a properly formatted report to print the contents of that screen. This is not just a screen dump of the screen. It is a clearly laid out report. In addition, there are over 80 individual reports that cover all aspects of a project. For example, you can configure PA to classify issues into 5 categories such as risks, assumptions, technical issues, business issues, etc. For each of these categories, you can look at all outstanding, all completed, all raised since a date, and all closed since a date. You can also select if you want to view issues for a project, a program or all projects.
