General
Information
Treasure
Lake is a 544 site RV resort set on 340 acres located in the heart of
the Ozark Mountain. Though near the intersection of the two
busiest streets in Branson, the campsites are set back far enough to
make you feel like you are "away from it all". Since we
are adjacent to a state game refuge, you will often see deer and wild
turkey around the park.
Five
well-known restaurants are within walking distance: Golden Corral,
Taco Bell, Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel and The Olive Garden. The
Ozark Mountain Smokehouse is also within walking distance of Treasure
Lake Resort. This new soup and sandwich buffet sits on the site of
the former Welcome Center. You may also walk to the Shoji Tabuchi
Theater, Victorian Theater, Pierce Arrow Theater, Celebration City, the
Roy Rogers Museum and the IMAX Theater, which is located at the entrance
to Treasure Lake. The IMAX complex houses a six-story movie
screen, the Little Opry Theater, the Elite Cinema III, numerous shops, a
food court and McFarlain's restaurant, here you can enjoy reasonably
priced Ozark cooking.
There are
over 35 theaters, housing over 100 shows, and major attractions located
in the immediate area including Silver Dollar City, Showboat Branson
Belle, Shepherd of the Hills, and others to numerous to name.
For good
reason, Branson is often referred to as the Tri-Lakes area. Table
Rock Lake, the largest, is one of the best bass lakes in the country.
Water from Table Rock Lake turns hydroelectric generators to produce
electricity for the area. The water from Table Rock flows into the
24-mile long Lake Taneycomo at a cool 48 degrees, making this a premier
trout lake. Trout are stocked from the Shepherd of the Hills Trout
Hatchery located at the base of Table Rock Dam. This lake, more
like a river, flows past old downtown Branson (home of the new Branson
Landing), ending at Powersite Dam and Bull Shoals Lake.
Although
these different things are fun and convenient, a vacation could be
complete without even leaving the park. There are many activities
available to you within the gates of Treasure Lake.
Treasure
Lake has one of the biggest swimming pools in Branson. It even has
a volleyball net in the pool so that you can play ball and keep cool.
There is also an indoor pool for those who do not want to be out in the
sun.
We have a
sand volleyball court, tennis courts, a softball field, a basketball
court, shuffleboard, croquet, horseshoes, a Frisbee golf course, game
room with pool tables and ping-pong, stocked fishing ponds, state of the
art playground equipment, and a large pavilion for family gatherings.
The sites
on our park are divided into four phases. Each phase has its own
bathhouse. Laundry facilities are located in phase two and on the
main road near the storage lots.
The
Clubhouse has a concession stand, a dance floor and a stage.
There is a Country Store stocked with basic food items and RV supplies.
Directly across the street is the Lodge where the Library, computer
hookups, Board Room and the kitchen (for the many meals and potluck
dinners we have on park) are located.
Treasure
Lake is a private resort with Security Guards on duty 24 hours a day.
A gate card is necessary to come into the park. For your safety,
only members and their guests are allowed.
Ownerships
are currently available. With a Treasure Lake ownership, you may
stay as often as you like, 21 days in a 30 day period. There is a
$1 per day site improvement fee.
We have
both temporary and permanent storage, for a nominal fee, for those with
travel trailers or motor homes. (Based on availability.) Also
located on the park are 75 rental units, 44 of which are less than 5
years old.
We are a
Coast to Coast and Resort Park International (RPI) affiliated park,
receiving the Coast to Coast 5-Star Resort Aware for the last 13 years
and the Hosting Award for 6 years. When you become an owner at
Treasure Lake, you may join either of these two systems for a nominal
fee, making over 400 membership parks across the nation available to
you.
In 2002,
Treasure Lake celebrated several milestones. Among these
milestones was the 20th anniversary of the park itself and the 10th
anniversary of being member owned. We also celebrated the 30th
anniversary of Coast to Coast.
