You've reached the Family Historians web page on our site.  This is our Surname Collaboration Project site.  We're looking for collaborative partners to share whatever information they may have pertaining to the surnames that we are researching.  If you've ever come across information about someone who shared the same surname that you are researching and then find that there is no connection to the lineage you are researching, what do you do with information?  Do you discard it?  File it away?  Well, now we created a single source for you to share that information.

You never know, you might have uncovered a bit of information that someone else has either been looking for or needs to help fill in the gaps in their research.  There may be someone out there who may not even know the information you have even existed, so they didn't even know to search for it.  Maybe you've come across a source that has a large amount of information about a common surname.  You can share that information ,also.  Remember, what makes genealogy so much fun and interesting is the contacts one makes while doing their research and maybe even connecting with a long lost family group.

So, we're interested in collaborating with others in researching some specific surnames; currently, I am actively looking for collaboration partners that are researching the IWANIW surname.  If you are interested in participating in this project, send me an . Or use the following to contact me:

The different family surnames we are researching are:

IWANIW

WASHABAUGH

The WASHABAUGH family is the only one that we have extensive information on.  Much of it is because we were fortunate to buy a copy of 260 years of the Washabaugh family in America, from the last printing.   We do make available information from this fairly detailed book information that others are looking for.  The key place that we post this information from requests that we get are the WASHABAUGH mail lists and message boards listed below:
