The Burrell Collections - This enormous private collection of over 9000 works was gifted to the city by Sir William Burrell and his wife. It is one of the best personal collections ever amassed and contains items from around the world including porcelain, furniture and paintings by great masters.

Fossil Grove - Located in Victoria Park. This museum was set up the preserve the remains of an ancient forest that has been fossilised. The now extinct trees are 330 million years old.
