The Las Vegas Wranglers announced the team helped raise over $50,000 for local and national charities, as well as donating numerous non-perishable items.
The Wranglers Nevada Power Play Program helped raise $10,000 for the third consecutive season, with the proceeds going to Camp To Belong Nevada. The Las Vegas Wranglers teamed up with Nevada Power for a donation every time the Wranglers went on the power play during the 2005-06 season. Camp To Belong is a national non-profit organization dedicated to reuniting siblings placed in separate foster homes and other out-of-home care for events of fun, emotional empowerment and sibling connection.
In an effort to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Las Vegas Wranglers hosted Hurricane Relief Night on November 4th. As part of Hurricane Relief Night, the Wranglers donated $5.00 of every ticket sold to the Hurricane Relief Fund. In addition to each $5.00 donation made by the Wranglers, the Nevada law firm of Kummer Kaempfer Bonner Renshaw & Ferrario (KKBR&F) donated a portion of the $21,000.
In addition, the Las Vegas Wranglers donated over $16,000 in tickets to numerous local charities and over $5,000 in merchandise. The Wranglers also participated in the Project Letters From Home Program, collecting and sending over 500 pounds of non-perishable items to troops overseas. On April 27th, the Wranglers hosted Mac-N-Cheese Night, collecting over 1,200 boxes of Macaroni and Cheese for the Clark County Food Bank.
