The Las Vegas Wranglers are proud to be working with several local area community groups during the 2004 - 05 season. 
 
21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) and After School All Stars both coordinate after school programs for local students.  We are also a member of the Focus School program in which at risk schools are paired with local businesses. The Wranglers Focus School for the second year in a row is Sunrise Acres Elementary School.

The Wranglers will send players, The Duke and front office staff to read to students, help with homework, be 'lunch buddies', appear at assemblies and special events and more.  We'll also be offering incentives to students, teachers and staff who participate in all three programs.

To aid these organizations we have established a number of drives for their benefit.  On each night, simply bring the designated items and drop them off at the gate on your way in, at Wranglers Guest Services behind section 110, or in the Wranglers Room.  Every donation will receive an entry into that night's raffle for a variety of prizes from the Wranglers and our sponsors.  We appreciate you saving the date and participating in each of these drives.
 
November 5th - School Supply Drive to benefit Sunrise Acres Elementary. New supplies only.

November 13th - Scouting for Food.

In partnership with the Boy Scouts of America the Wranglers will assist the Scouts with collecting food for their annual Scouting for Food event to benefit needy families through the Salvation Army and Catholic Charities.

November 20th - 2nd Annual Teddy Bear Toss benefiting Sunrise Acres.
 
Bring your bears to the game (pick up your raffle ticket at the door) and when we make our first goal, toss the bears onto the ice for collection by the faculty of Sunrise Acres.

January 14th - School Supply Drive to benefit After-School All-Stars. New supplies only.

March 11th - Book Drive to benefit 21st CCLC. Please bring age appropriate for students in K - 12 grade.
