Welcome to Great Lakes.

Great Lakes is a 45 minutes drive north of Newcastle and 2.5hours north of Sydney. It is a paradise and stretches north from the Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest to Port Stephens.

All year round there is holiday adventure. Many visitors are rediscovering the natural beauty of the lakes, beaches and National Parks. Summertime sees the waves and crystal clear waters the playground of many. Winter’s snow is an adventure and the waters of the tidal lakes – the choice of many canoeists. The magical dolphins and migrating whales can be seen off the coast and the National Parks hold and protect the rainforests of yesterday.
