Directions to Montana State University
Head to Bozeman on I-90. If coming from the west, take exit 305 onto North 19th Ave. Follow N 19th Ave. to Kagy Boulevard. Turn left onto Kagy and continue to South 7th Ave. and take a left into the parking areas. If you are coming from the east, take exit 309, drive west to Willson Ave., turn left and drive 18 blocks to Kagy Boulevard. Turn right, and drive 7 blocks to South 7th Ave. Turn right into the parking lots.
Directions to Big Sky Resort
Big Sky is a 45-mile drive from the Gallatin Airfield. To Get from the airport to Big Sky, turn right onto Hwy. 10 and then turn left onto Hwy. 291. This road goes over I-90 and becomes Hwy. 85 and then Hwy. 191. Continues south 7 miles through a 4-way stop on Hwy.. 191. Continue 32 miles along Hwy. 191. Take a right at the yellow blinking Big Sky Resort sign. Drive 9 miles to the Mountain Village.
Directions to Yellowstone National Park
The drive from Bozeman to the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park is a scenic 89-mile drive through the Gallatin River Canyon. The drive will take about 1.5-2 hours. Along the way, the Gallatin Mountains dominate the eastern landscape, while the Madison Range covers the west. Don_t be in a hurry when you take this drive--there are breathtaking sights around every corner. It is also a good idea to slow down for wildlife. Bison, elk, and deer are often seen on this drive. From Bozeman, drive west down Main Street for about 9 miles until you reach an area called Four Corners. Here, get onto Hwy. 191 the route to West Yellowstone. Follow Hwy. 191. At about mile 31, the road goes through a small segment of Yellowstone National Park that continues for the next 20 miles. However, to get to the park through the West entrance, proceed on Hwy. 191 until it insects with HWY. 287. Take Hwy. 287 to US 20 and follow the signs that lead to the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
