  1. Are you a full-time professional Realtor®?

    Yes! Clint & Laura are full-time Colorado Springs realtors. We specialize in residential real estate located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Working as your team of full-time professionals we offer some of the best service in the industry. Our professional services include "exclusive sellers agency" and "exclusive buyers agency". We also work as "transaction brokers" when requested to do so.

    Clint & Laura have been awarded the nationally recognized GRI designation! GRI stands for Graduate, Realtor Institute. Only licensed real estate agents that are also members of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) can earn the nationally recognized GRI designation. To be awarded the GRI designation, a REALTOR® must complete a comprehensive series of courses covering a detailed curriculum. This curriculum includes Valuation, Law, Finance, Real Estate Investment, Taxation, Ethics, Construction and Land Use. Licensed Realtors who have attained their GRI designation are considered leaders in the real estate profession.

  2. Do you have a personal assistant, team, or staff to handle different parts of the sales transaction?

    Yes! Colorado Springs realtors Clint & Laura work together as a husband and wife team. We strive to maintain a personal level of service that is often compromised by realtors shuffling correspondence to their assistants. We do employ the services of an assistant to help us with the paperwork. In general, our assistant does not interface directly with our clients. By doing business in this manner we are able to maintain direct and concise communications. We feel that this type of communication enables us to provide our clients with the best possible service.

  3. Do you have a web site that will provide me with useful information for research, services, and how you work with homebuyers? Can I have those Web addresses now?

Should you have suggestions regarding functionality or find any errors please forward them. We will make every effort to make changes accordingly.

  4. Will you show me properties from other companies' listings?

    Absolutely! Our goal is to help you find the home you want. Using the detailed criteria you provide, we search all properties in the areas of interest. We are able to co-op with other brokers in these areas. By making a simple phone call to them we can gain access to these homes using our digital supra key. This is true for any home listed in Colorado Springs MLS. And our search doesn’t stop there! We not only show you the homes listed by other brokers, will even show you, For Sale By Owner and Bank Owned properties meeting your specifications.

  5. Will you represent me or will you represent the seller? May I have that in writing? How will you represent me, and what is the direct benefit of having you represent me?

    We offer exclusive "buyers agency". This contractual obligation creates advocacy and a fiduciary obligation. Meaning we will work on your behalf to negotiate the best possible price and terms. We do not disclose to the seller or the seller’s agent your motivation, what you are willing to pay or any other information that would be of benefit to the seller. We prepare and present your offer using current Colorado Springs market data. This offer will reflect your current position regarding pricing and terms. As your realtors we present your offer directly to the listing agent. Your benefit is significant as the seller and the seller’s agent will not have opportunity to query you. They will be unable to determine your motivations or your willingness to pay. The seller will have only three basic options. Accepting the offer, rejecting the offer or preparing a counter-offer. Should the seller choose anything other than accepting the offer you are no longer obligated to purchase the property. Meaning you may walk-away. This situation puts tremendous pressure on the seller assuming your offer was prepared using market data and reflects a price at or near the value of the home.

  6. How will you get paid? How are your fees structured? May I have that in writing?

    The seller’s agent pays our commission. We do not charge any administration or special service fees. As a Colorado Springs home buyer you do not pay for our services. We are paid for bringing you the buyer together with the seller. We will always provide you with a full disclosure of services available and estimate of all costs associated with your Colorado Springs home purchase.

  7. What distinguishes you from other Realtors? What is your negotiating style and how does it differ from those of other Realtors? What geographic areas to you specialize in?

    We have been involved with purchasing investment properties and income properties for the past thirteen years. This experience allows us to look at the numbers. We do not bring emotions to the table that often clouds good judgment. Knowing the area, the properties recently sold, and those currently available, along with having the tools available to compare them allows us to present you with facts regarding what you should expect for your money. We differ from some realtors, as we do not promote submitting a low offer in hopes the seller will then disclose the lowest price they will accept. We encourage you to present a fair and reasonable offer. This is accomplished using solid market data that backs up numbers. We have found that when a seller is presented with an offer that is based on real market data that includes reasonable terms they often accept the offer. We will show homes throughout Colorado Springs. And with the exception of referrals we do not work outside the metro area.

  8. Will you give me names of past clients who will give references for you?

    Yes! Just Ask…

  9. Do you have a performance guarantee? If I am not satisfied with your performance, can I terminate our Buyer Agency Agreement?

    We do not offer a performance guarantee. But, our agency agreements can in fact be terminated prior to expiration. As Colorado Springs Realtors® at Keller Williams Realty we understand the importance of win-win business relationships, and that the Realtor® does not benefit if the client does not also benefit. Should you decide to terminate your agency agreement simply let us know when and why. Our business is referral based. We do all our business accordingly.

  10. How will you keep in contact with me during the buying process, and how often?

    We believe that good communications are a key ingredient in any real estate transaction. First and foremost we ask our clients how, how often, when and where they want to be contacted. We know that buying your Colorado Springs home can produce numerous questions that require answers promptly. We also know that many of our clients are busy professionals with little or no time during their business day. We can schedule communications, daily, weekly or any interval in-between. We have office phones, cell phones, emails and fax machines. We answer our email twice daily. We are available by phone during the day including evenings and weekends. Should we not answer, you will be automatically forwarded to our voice mail, and we do return all calls promptly!
