Legacy Data
Legacy data is the term used to refer to your past orders. If you are a Yahoo Merchant Solutions store we can populate Cactus Complete Commerce with every order that was ever placed in your Yahoo Store. These pre-existing orders can be used to generate email lists for marketing. Of course it also helps to remember your customers when they call or order again.
Legacy orders can be critical to maintaining continuity in marketing and customer service when you transition from your current system to Cactus Complete Commerce. The data from your legacy orders is invaluable as a marketing resource, to report on past sales, generate new promotions and create mailing lists with Cactus Complete Commerce's Smart Select tools.
Smart Select allows you to generate an e-mail or mailing list based on criteria you decide. If you want a list of every customer that ever purchased one item, Smart Select can generate it for you.
Importing of legacy orders occurs the month after implementation is complete and is handled as an additional purchase. Typically this can be done very inexpensively.
