Welcome to a site that's full of triathlon information and results but one that also tries to explain and describe the wholeness of my life of an elite athlete. There is so much to life and I have found that the one thing that I have always come back to and what allowed me to "find myself," was sport. This site celebrates race results and exciting race and training news but it also focuses on how sport has helped me through the most challenging times in my life.

For me sport is a way that I can check in with myself on a daily basis and thank my body for doing the things it allows me to do. Without the daily check in that I get through my workouts I have often found that my purpose in life has been less clear. I feel that I am most productive and positive with and about the things that go on in my life when I involved in sport.
With that said, I know the time will come when sport will be less of a commitment than it is at the present time but I know it will be something that is a big part of me forever. I accept all thepositive things it gives me. I want to share my journey through my elite triathlon career with people. Age groupers, retirees, young kids and anyone else who can benefit from my experiences will make this website all the more worthwhile. I hope to give back to the sport through my site and help promote the people, companies and corporations that support me as well.
I hope you enjoy the various sections that my site has to offer and if you have any suggestions for further topics or areas that you are interested in then please feel free to contact me. I want this site to be for all of us. I want to share with you my successes and challenges in this sport and I want to give you my insights into what makes this sport "tick." I look forward to updating the site often so please check back regularly.
Have the confidence in yourselves to dream big because that's how we all begin to achieve personal excellence.
Good luck,
Suzanne Weckend
