Hi everyone,

Football Fever

Fifa World Cup'06 Germany has come again. I know I'll get little time to watch the matches but I'll try to watch the big matches...Brazil, Argentina, Germany and most importantly USA.

Our country is going to play its first match on 12th of this month. I'm definitely looking forward to this match. Very Happy

I'm very passionate and enthusiastic about football and would like to hear your reaction. I believe this time our players will perform better than ever.

BUT>> I hate it that you're calling it football! To me, a dedicated American football afficiendo and historian (not to mention biggest dolphins fan in the world...)It is and always will be..SOCCER!
Yes, I know, I know...Football is the official name of what we call soccer.

BTW, I think Football Fever sounds better than Soccer Fever, that’s why Mike wrote it Football. finsfan, don’t forget Mike is a person who doesn’t do different things, but does things differently Laughing

LOL, it's definitely more decriptive, I'l give you that...And, in Spain, where soccer is the big sport, it's called futbal. It's always fun to tease people about it, though!

I will support USA but Brazil has a big chance all over!! I saw in the TV that Germans were supporting them off screen. I don't see soccer at all but seeing and hearing about this game everywhere, I feel curious to see some of the matches. At least, I want to know why Brazil is so much in demand. I heard they play their game using unique skills. They make the game more interesting with their plans. I would like to see some of the frames!! I too have my votes for USA.. Smile

Oh BUMMER!!! The USA got shut out on their opener..But it's only the first one, and we're ranked 5th in the world!
