ESL homestay may include a package of private
ESL tutoring or placement in ESL courses in

in a short period of time.
HOLIDAY HOMESTAY: Popular in the Summer,
Christmas holidays and spring break. This type
of homestay requests come from students who
would like to visit Vancouver for short-term
stay to visit attractions, experience life in
Vancouver, practice speaking English with Canadian
host families, and experience the Canadian culture,
traditions and lifestyle in Vancouver.
CAREER HOMESTAY: It is very common between
international career oriented professionals,
and career-minded young adults, who come to
Vancouver for a short-term or long-term stay,
on working or leisure holiday, coming for internship
with a local or international corporation, relocating
from another country or city, or seeking professional
training.
