This blog crossed 100000 unique visitors yesterday (as tracked by my statcounter).

Something I never ever expected to happen.

Thanks folks for making it possible. :D

Having spent whole of Sunday at home, going out on Monday evening was a welcome break.

The purpose was a Bible study at the house of one of the members of Oman Christian Federation (OCF).

We reached there late because Dad got stuck at work. The meeting lasted for about an hour after we reached and this was followed by a nice dinner and a huge bowl of icecream :)

I then spent the rest of the evening till the 1am Oman time, i.e. 2.30am IST playing PS2 games with the kids, while dad and others were busy planning a bachelor party. Gosh I feel old…!

And this evening we set out car hunting with a friend. Saw quite a few second hand cars, including one really sexy merc which cost around 6lakh rupees only!

Went shopping for clothes, but wasn’t able to find anything good. So just picked up a jeans for my brother.

Finished off the rest of the evening with a junk dinner of shawarma and shish tawook.

Dad tells me the net here isn’t all that expensive as I was imagining. However, I still feel a bit guilty spending my dads money on the internet (there are better places to spend it ;) ), so you still won’t find me online that much.

Fly away Ajay
Actually a Boeing 737.

Woke up by 3.30am (not that I got much sleep earlier) and quickly got ready to leave.

Mom insisted on coming with me to the airport (love you Mom) as I wasn’t too well. Spent a good half and hour standing in the checkin counter in a long line.
Got through immigration easily and spent the rest of the time in the final waiting area. Thankfully the flight was on time.

Reached Muscat safely yesterday. The internet here is a lousy dialup and so you won’t find a lot of posts here. Gonna be composing a lot of stuff offline and will probably do some mass posting when I am back in Mumbai.

Please keep me in your prayers. My illness and the antibiotics have already gotten me extremely weak and have been rather listless the past two days.

Ciao until I’m back or can get a faster net….

Went for the 8.30am mass, but headed straight home and spent the rest of the day home because of my a splitting headache.
Marise came over in the evening for a while as she was in the area. Anjali paid me a visit later in the evening. Falling ill sure has its advantages ;)
