Alaska Moose Hunting

A.N.G has been offering high quality Moose hunts for nearly 30 years with our hunters averaging 63 inch moose. Alaska Moose Hunting is probably the most physically demanding of all Alaska Hunting trips mainly becouse of where Trophy Moose live, generally in wet swampy lowlands with lots of cover and willows a favorite food of Moose.    Alaska Moose hunting is always challenging to a beginner although the reward is wonderful a set of horns that will fill your den wall and weigh around 75lbs, All moose hunting is done from remote fly in or jetboat spike camps or cabins on or near rivers and lakes, there is nothing cushy about these hunts just pure hard work, We have been very fortunate to harvest many Trophy Moose upto 72 inches, many making B&C and SCI scoring.

 Alaska Moose hunting locations

Alaska Moose hunting camps make for a truly one of  a kind memorable hunting Trip. We offer 1x1, 10-day Alaska Yukon Moose hunts in unit 9 on the Alaska Peninsula and unit 21 on the Yukon River, both of these areas have been producing grat animals the past few years. We will be offering a Grizzly-Moose Caribou in 2007. All our guided hunts for 2006 are sold out.  Our guide area covers the famous Alagnak and Yukon river drainages. These are some of most productive Moose & grizzly bear hunting areas in the state of Alaska,    Our  keys to success are Location! Location! Location! and not over hunting our area as we only take 4 guided Moose hunts per season.
