Police Department

The Asheville Police department is a nationally accredited police agency encompassing four divisions: Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Administration, and Support.

Our department employs 241 sworn and non-sworn men and women, and utilizes the strengths, experiences, and specialties of over 150 volunteers.
