CIC’s Response to the Earthquake in Java Province, Indonesia
 CIC is committed to a humane and flexible response when natural disasters abroad affect the relatives of Canadian citizens and permanent residents. CIC officers in Canada and abroad will make use of their existing legal authorities to respond with increased sensitivity, flexibility and speed to those persons who have been seriously and personally affected by the disaster.
