Here’s an update of what we’ve found interesting recently.
As usual, these are in no particular order…
Last.FM is a social music site that attempts to look at the songs that you listen to and suggest alternative music that you may like. We’ve been using it for a while now and have found some great new bands to listen to. It even plugs directly into your favorite music player, such as iTunes or Windows MediaPlayer.
Userscripts.org has a great repository for scipts and plugins for firefox allowing you greater control over the information presented to you.
Sage is a news aggregator for RSS feeds in Firefox (can you tell we’re FireFox fans here?) Collates all your RSS subscriptions into one place and also allows you to apply CSS styles to your news.
Tortoise CVS – occasionally we get round to our real job of writing code and feel the need for a decent code repository and versioning system. Tortoise CVS fills this need beautifully. Integrates straight into the windows file system and is easy to use. They also have a cool picture of a tortoise as their logo.
