NEW YORK (March 2, 2006) WorldNow, the leading provider of Internet technology, revenue and content solutions for local media companies, today announced that Stuart Marcus has been promoted to SVP, Local Ad Sales.
Marcus will manage WorldNow's Local Ad Sales team, where he will maintain and grow WorldNow’s vibrant convergent advertising business. Marcus and his team will also continue to launch innovative media partnership programs that provide local viewers with important in-market information while creating new non-traditional revenue sources for local media companies.
Marcus, who has been with WorldNow for five years, was previously Southwest Division Manager at Paramount Pictures & Fox Television where he helped create large market share for First-run and major Feature Film libraries. He also assisted in pioneering alternative distribution, via turn-key applications for the sale of off-network products to start-up independents and local market agreements.
"Stuart is integral in leading WorldNow to meet all of its sales and revenue development goals," said Gary Gannaway, Chairman, President and CEO of WorldNow. “He has shown incredible dedication and relationship-building skills by providing exemplary products and services to clients from start to finish as they work with WorldNow.”
