California Trout is the only organization that focuses solely on protecting California's trout and steelhead and their waters. But we can't do this without your help. Our more than 6000 members are crucial to our mission. Over a third of our conservation funds come from people like you who care about the future of fish and fishing in the Golden State and want to ensure that future with an annual membership.
CalTrout works on many fronts - advocacy, education, restoration -- to achieve our objectives. Click through this sight to see for yourself some of our many accomplishments and our goals for the coming years. From the restoration of Hat Creek to the Golden Trout Project to the endangered species listing of Smith River coho, CalTrout's presence is felt all over the state. But we won't accomplish much without you. Your participation gives us the energy, the momentum, and the clout to get our work done at all levels of government and the private sector.
Everyone who joins at our basic membership level of $35 or more will receive our starting membership kit which includes a window decal, fishing license protector, license plate frame and a subscription to the Streamkeepers Log, our quarterly newsletter.
