We're glad you found us and welcome to Kayak Fishing Stuff. Kayak
fishing is a new and exciting sport. It is a specialized type of fishing
and requires specialized equipment to do it both safely and productively.
To get started all you really need is your fishing gear, a kayak and
a paddle and you can go catch some fish. With the addition of a few
accessories you'll greatly increase your enjoyment and the capabilities
of your kayak. This will probably result in your catching lots more
fish. Here at Kayak Fishing Stuff we'll make sure that you get the
gear that works for the type of fishing you plan on doing. Don't make
an expensive mistake by purchasing your kayak and gear from someone
who doesn't fish, let alone fish from a kayak.
Your hosts here are some avid kayak fisherman. Joey and Jon spend
a lot of time kayak fishing on the eastern seaboard in both fresh
and saltwater. It's our passion and we've enjoyed sharing and helping
others to do the same. This site came about because the industry
needed a reliable source to get all the right stuff that turns an
ordinary kayak into a fishing kayak. Everything we sell we use or
have used.
When we started kayak fishing there wasn't one place to get all
the specialized items we needed. We had to track down accessories
from several places. It involved a lot of time in just finding it
all. Also the shipping charges for one item sometimes exceeded the
cost of the product. Now you can get all the stuff you need in one
place. The money you'll save on shipping will probably get you another
item or two.
We plan on sharing a great deal of information on the products
we sell. There will be a picture of each product offered. We'll
also be a description along with application pictures, mounting
instructions, tips, and etc. all with pictures. We've got a bunch
of ideas and a plan on how to incorporate them. Trips, clinics,
demo days, etc. This is just the beginning.
We deal in fishing kayaks so if you want to fish from a kayak
we're here to help. Before contacting us we'd like to ask you some
questions to better assess your needs. All kayak fishermen are not
created equal. We're all different and we have different needs.
The kayak that is well suited for the open waters of Long Island
Sound would not fare well in a small river or pond. We're not interested
in just making a sale; we want to make sure that we get you into
the yak that best suits your needs. If we do our job correctly you'll
be referring others and making your future purchases from us. Should
you outgrow a kayak purchased from us and wish to move into another
we will take it in trade towards your new kayak. As you grow we'll
grow with you and provide what the sport has to offer.
