I was just listening to some of your songs on your website. I especially loved the songs that were sung by David Spear. Do you guys still perform? It would be a fantastic concert.

Found your site through a friend. I love it. I especially am enjoying your comments before each song and the way you critique/analyze each one, as if you weren't the writer. Too cool. Keep up the great work. "Cause I Once Loved You" hits too close to home!!

Hi Eddie. Hostbaby sent me the forum on how to convert to MP3 and I saw your name. I knew it was familiar...then it dawned on me, Nashville! I lived there from '92 - '98 and saw your band several times. You guys were excellent, plus you reminded me of home. You've done a great job with your site, I'm enjoying the music section. I'm glad to see you are doing well. Please be sure and let me know if "ya'll" are playing back in the Motherland!

Hey-

Had to write.

Got a tip from a geezer at Rutland Vermont's First Night. He was representing the Rutland Historical Society, playing old swing from cassette at a food venue....Got to talking, and he had very good things to say about you and yours.

Had an Amazon gift certificate, and took a flier on your 1st two recordings. Just got them this afternoon. As they say down your way (or just east of you, anyways) YEAH BUDDY!

Much as I like all aspects of the CD's, I've got to say that your lyrics are - what superlative to use? - the best I've heard since Hank Card of the Lounge Lizards - excellence in a different vein, but equally enjoyable. Hats off, sir!

Looking forward to owning more!

Bruce - huge (and isolated) jug/swing fan in VT

Eddie, Great to hear from you after all of this time. I'm glad to see you're still plugging, but I miss the black walls and red trim of your former swank bachelor pad. I'm still doing the same things, writing books and just screwing around. I think I've had 14 books so far with several different publishers. I'm trying to get it together to move further South before it turns cold. I am glad you are doing well. You look the same ten years later. (That's a compliment). I check my email about once every two weeks, but keep in touch. I'm about three weeks away from having my house ready to rent. I've been living at Katye's for the last two years or so. She says hello. I'll give you a call soon and perhaps we can do lunch or have a coffee. Be cool, stay in school, and don't be a dropout! Hey? What is six inches long, has a big head on it, and drives women crazy? A hundred dollar bill!

Lots a luck with this site kid, it looks and functions great. I listened to a few of your tunes and they brought a smile as always.

October 21, 2005

That's amazing. I never knew you were a songwriter, musician. Shows how much we learn about each other in high school. I live in FL. A few other Piscataway people live here, but I haven't run into them. My brother writes his own music and plays in a band, but that's his part time "fun". Not much of an occupation at this point. I write children's stories. I guess I've been paid for my stories and poetry, but not marketed, just people I talk to directly.
So, I'm very impressed. If I get to Nashville, I'll come and see you. If you get to Tampa, let me know.

Was listening to Vol II today, and thought I'd see if the BBBB website was still there, and it lead me here! Great to be able to hear some of your other stuff, though I do miss seeing you guys play. Hearing "I'm Your Present" for the first time at Manhattan's will forever be one of my favorite Christmas memories.

It's wonderful to see you still writing and playing!!! By the way, I'm #6 just after John. I'll check in from time to time and can't wait to hear you on the radio. Peace & God Bless!!!

DaVido, AKA David Spear

July 24, 2005

Eddie has touched every emotional and creative l fiber of my soul! I have worked with, and written with some of the best hit songwriter/producers the world has known! In my opinion, Mugavero deserves world recognition, and one day he will get it! He also deserves a medal for putting up with me! LOL... All I had to do was give Eddie an idea, a simple story line, and the next thing I knew, a song was written, didn't matter what the subject, leather jackets, kitchens, sleeping on couches, Eddie would always come up with brilliant lyric, and melodies, that enabled me to perform to my fullest abilities, Eddie you are my Beatles! Your singer, cowriter, but mostly, your blood brother, DaVido, aka David Spear...
P.S I miss performing with you!!!

March 28, 2005

Eddie,

Saw Maureen over the weekend and she told me to check out your website. I enjoyed hearing some of your other tunes besides "Bada Bing", although I'll always LOVE the "Bada Bing" stuff. I still think you should try writing a show, several of your tunes have that showtune feel. "Her or Me" is just one example of a fun character driven piece. "Nothing Rhymes" lyrically reminds me of the cleverness of Sondheim. Enjoyed listening. What a gift! Take care, Cindy

The first time I heard Eddie's music was in a duo with David Spear. A song called "Hub cap" blew me away. I was hooked. Then, I saw Eddie with his band Baddabing and again, I was hooked. Eddie is a great writer/performer and if he can hang in there a little bit longer, everyone will know The genious of Eddie Mugavero.

Here's to you Eddie!
