Landscape Gardens

The Landscape Gardens display a cross section of different kinds of gardens suitable for residential settings, and the plants appropriate to these designs.

Specialized garden displays include: formal and informal herb gardens; a traditional perennial border; a rock garden; streamside gardens; an easy-to-grow mixed border; and still other small-scale landscaping ideas for Midwest gardens.

Tough, low-maintenance, but still quite showy, plants have been used in the easy-to-grow area to tempt the hands-off gardeners.

A meandering path, with pools and streams, creates a pleasant stroll through diverse and beautiful settings, many of which were recently redesigned. These garden tableaus offer home gardeners inspired suggestions for shade- and sun-loving plants.

See what's in bloom now.
