The Chicago Botanic Garden is a center of horticultural diversity.   

Everyplace you turn, you will find colorful delights.  The Esplanade has been planted in dramatic shades of silver and peach.  All the vegetables have been planted in the Fruit & Vegetable Garden. Featured annuals this year throughout the Garden  include varieties of Mexican hyssop, lantana, Calibrachoa (or mini petunia), African daisies, twinspur, heliotrope, begonias and hibiscus. 

Trees and shrubs that are a prominent part of the landscape now are roses, Japanese tree lilacs, Japanese spireas, arrowwood viburnum and deutzia.  The Kousa dogwood in the Landscape Garden is in full bloom.  

Perennials to be found in abundance include the lavender catmints edging garden walks; white wild indigo and foxglove beardtongue in the native gardens and along the shores; and meadow anemones in the Lakeside and Sensory Gardens.  

There's something for every plant enthusiast  to enjoy at the Chicago Botanic Garden.
