for exchange under the terms of the EuroGOOS Data Policy, consistent
with WMO
Resolution 40, ECOMET
and the and our standard
terms and conditions.
These data are available via a number of different means: through the
WMO Global Telecommunication System (GTS), the Met Office's Data
and Products Distribution System (DPDS) and the world wide web.

Global Marine Database. The Met Office holds a record of marine
observations that have been extracted from the weather logs of merchant
ships. The database holds a global record dating back to 1854. All
data from this archive are available either periodic data or climatological
for specified areas. Data are available under ECOMET.
