Hawaii Holidays - Do you know when to find the best savings on Hawaii hotels and vacation packages?
When you book your air, hotel, car or complete Hawaii vacation package, here are some things to keep in mind..
  1. First, Hawaii has basically two seasons, summer (May to October) and winter (November to April). The northeastern sides of the islands are generally cooler, windier and get more rain than the southwest sides. Consequently, most not all of the more desirable Hotels and resorts are found on the western and southwestern shores of all the islands. The dry season is generally from April to October with the most pleasant weather during April, May, September and October. This is at the beginning and the end of the dry season and this is also when you will find the best deals.
  2. The peak travel seasons are (mid December to mid April) and (mid June through August). If you plan to travel during these peak seasons, and you are looking for 4 and 5 star accommodations, it is always better to book well in advance. You may not get the better rates that are generally available during the off-season, but at least you'll have some peace of mind knowing that your vacation is planned and you won't be rushed to find something last minute, that may not be available. We recommend planning your vacation 2 to 4 months in advance for peak travel seasons. If you plan to travel during the last week in December, it is best to begin planning your vacation 6 months in advance.
