Managing director Lawrence Jones was there to pick up the award. “It’s fantastic to bring this back to Manchester for the second year running. “The whole team has been working towards this since last year. We set ourselves the challenge to stay on top and keep pushing the boundaries and I’m elated that the industry recognises this.”
The accolade comes after UKFast’s systems were extensively monitored by Epitiro Technologies and placed on a shortlist of five. Industry judges then scrutinised the top players and deemed UKFast to provide the most complete package.
An ISPA spokesperson said “A unanimous judging panel felt that UKFast was the clear and decisive winner. UKFast offers clients a free and full daily back-up service as standard and an impressive service level guarantee with a firm commitment to uptime. UKFast offers personal and friendly customer support, with a technical person promising to pick up the phone within three rings. With this commitment to customer service and support, UKFast “wins hands down”.”

The panel were so taken by UKFast’s “three rings and you’re in” policy that they tested it a handful of times. “When somebody says something like that, you just have to test it – in fact we all had a go!” said one member.
Manchester came away as the big winner, with Rochdale based Zen Internet taking the other major business trophy. “These awards prove that companies in the North West are competing successfully on a national scale,” said Jones. “We're setting standards for the industry.”
