Odds on Baccarat
The odds in Baccarat are set and do not change. The reason they do not change is that in the game of Baccarat there are no choices to make for either the dealer or the player as the game is played out automatically according to the rules. Even by counting cards the odds only change slightly. The Odds in blackjack are as follows
- Odds of you winning : 44.62%
- Odds of the house winning : 45.85%
- Odds of a tie : 9.53%
This seems to show that the odds are in favour of betting on the house winning every time. To even out the odds however the house charges commission on the winnings from bets placed on the house this is normally about 5%. Even with the commission factored in it is still slightly better to bet on the house rather than on the player. The odds do change if the commission changes from the normal 5%. It works out that you should bet on the house for all commissions below 5% with the odds just getting better the lower the commission and with all commissions over 5% you should bet on the player.
