Endeavor has considerable experience and success in delivering hands-on training, systems administration and technical training, and consulting services on workflow and database maintenance.   We believe the following elements are critical to the success of our training events:

Endeavor Trainers

• Each of our trainers maintain an in-depth knowledge of Endeavor software products and a broad perspective on customer practices and preferences.
• Our classes are designed for ten people or less so that each trainer can interact substantively with each trainee.
• Comprehensive training materials are provided to each participant, including a detailed guide, training examples, and valuable tip sheets. 
• Recognizing that different learning styles commonly exist in a single class, Endeavor trainers are skilled at delivering different training methods and can adjust their approach to fit the unique needs of the audience.

Class Content

• Endeavor offers a wide variety of classes to address the learning needs of it users, and the content for each is extensive and well documented in the training materials.
• Functional training classes have been created by librarians who study the subject matter and utilize online data examples to illustrate their points.
• Technical training classes are provided by technologists and Endeavor system administrators.

A Variety of Training Approaches

• Hands-on classroom (at customer’s location or hosted as part of a regional or national customer gathering)
• Live e-learning classes with database and instructor interactivity
• E-learning online broadcasts (Training WebCasts)
• Managed self-study
• Or, an appropriate mix or blend of the above!

Training Databases

Endeavor provides training databases for each software product, which is critical because it enables library staff to gain hands-on experience before their Endeavor software installation and data conversion.  Extensive training exercises are provided for use with the training databases.

Training Plans / Assessments

A customized training plan can be created as a joint effort for any customer, in order to address any unique needs or preferences.  A training plan will contain many elements and timelines reflective of a specific implementation, such as individual learning styles and preferred pace of learning at the institution.
