Creative Cooking School

Creative Cooking School¡¯s mission is to ¡°Teach Professional Techniques to the Home Chef.¡± We offer classes to serve every kind of student, from beginners through seasoned cooks. We offer a wide variety of cooking, baking and pastry programs throughout the year. These classes provide students the training they need to become proficient cooks without the cost or time commitment of a traditional culinary academy. Students will learn all the essentials of classic culinary techniques as well as receive basic training in ethnic cuisines and advanced recipe development. Everyone can learn to master the basic techniques and the fundamentals of cooking. We have cooking classes for everyone!

Also, if you are ready to "Cook up a NEW career", we now offer accelerated, 600-hour Professional Chef Certification Programs in Culinary Arts and also in Baking & Pastry. These programs are run in conjunction with UNLV. All graduates receive a Certificate of Completion from UNLV! We offer both daytime and evening sessions. Our recreational cooking classes are for those that love food and the camaraderie that comes with it. According to Julia Child, "Enjoy the pleasures of cooking and sharing good food." She also said ¡°above all, have a good time in the kitchen.¡±

Recipes in cookbooks and even watching recipes demonstrated on TV cannot equal the learning experience of a real cooking class. In classes you have the opportunity to use your five senses to see, hear, smell, touch and taste everything including the final prepared dish. You have the opportunity to interact with the instructor and ask questions in a cooking class to help you better understand the concepts and techniques.

The Wine Country Cooking School

Culinary Vacations & Cooking Classes in the heart of Canada's wine country

The Wine Country Cooking School - located within Strewn, an estate winery minutes from the beautiful town of Niagara-on-the-Lake - is a unique culinary experience for recreational cooks.

As Canada's first winery cooking school, we are focused on the relationship between food and wine. But we're equally excited about the abundance of fresh products grown in the region and showcase them in recipes and menus that reflect the seasons.

Every weekend from January until the end of November, we offer hands-on cooking classes designed to tempt your palate while increasing your culinary knowledge and appreciation of the relationship between food and wine. To check availability, go to the Class Calendar and click on the class date.

During the week, we're open for corporate groups and tour operators. Whether it's a team-building experience or client entertainment, or spouses program option for an annual meeting, we can customize a program to suit.

700 Kitchen Cooking School

Located within the original 1880¡¯s mansion is Savannah's 700 Kitchen Cooking School, a state-of-the art culinary facility dedicated to bringing entertaining and engaging cooking programs to the home chef-hobbyist. Savor the delights of learning to cook flavorful authentic ethnic and regional cuisines! Enjoy a taste of effortless entertaining as you discover new ways to entertain your family and friends! 700 Kitchen Cooking School is a unique concept unlike any other in Savannah. Daily interactive and hands-on culinary programs will offer new tastes, flavors and experiences for nearly everyone, from novice to gourmand!

The cooking school is outfitted with Wolf and Sub-Zero brand appliances, two flat-screen LCD monitors with three separate video cameras for improved viewing, and seating for up to 30 for larger format classes, culinary demonstrations, and guest chef presentations. In addition to individual classes the cooking school will offer dynamic and fun group-oriented cooking activities for your next event! Whether you¡¯re looking for an exciting and fun addition to business meetings, a casual social group function, or a new twist on personal celebrations and parties¡­we can spice up your next get together with our culinary magic!
