Cognos – A long-standing Silver OEM Partner, Endeavor established
a new relationship with Cognos in 2005 with the goal of adding
advanced business intelligence features to its library management
product suite in order to easily create, execute, and deliver
reports.
Beginning with an integration between Cognos ReportNet, the
company’s Web-based enterprise query and reporting solution,
and Endeavor’s enterprise resource management solution, Meridian,
the relationship has since expanded to other Endeavor offerings.
Today, Endeavor’s Analyzer add-on module leverages Cognos’
business intelligence capabilities to deliver a Web-based reporting
system, enabling institutions to make data-driven decisions
regarding their library collections.
Endeavor will continue to leverage Cognos ReportNet in order
to further simplify back-office processes for librarians, thus
allowing them to focus on delivering optimal front-office service
to patrons.

Sun Microsystems, Inc. – Sun has been Endeavor's primary development
partner since the company’s inception in 1994. Upwards of
90 percent of all installations of Endeavor’s Voyager ILS are
powered by Sun systems. Sun had authorized Endeavor as a U.S.
proprietary reseller and campus representative, and in 2005
Endeavor joined the Sun Partner Advantage Program for Independent
Software Vendors (ISVs).
2005 also marked the formation of a unique partnership between
the two companies, focused on creating a next-generation platform
of global digital repositories and preservation technologies
to protect critical educational, cultural, and historical information.
The partnership is further strengthened by the involvement
of Endeavor’s parent company, Elsevier, as its heritage in
managing large scale content repositories will enable libraries,
universities and museums to more easily and securely convert,
store, manage, and distribute their informational assets.

Oracle - Endeavor is a value-added reseller for Oracle, as
several offerings within the Endeavor product suite are built
on Oracle's relational database. The flexibility of both
Endeavor’s Voyager ILS and Meridian ERM offerings are due in
part to the Oracle relational database structure, which provides
complete integration of functionality and increased capabilities
for the combination of functions throughout the library.
Endeavor fully supports the Oracle database and the associated
application code, providing first-tier customer service. This
level of synergistic support is unique in the library
software industry. The goal of this relationship, which began shortly
after Endeavor's incorporation in 1994, is to maintain
a superior data storage mechanism that is safe, secure, reliable,
efficient, and accessible, and one that functions in full compliance
with both existing and emerging industry standards.
