The brand new business, seminar and congress hotel Coronado belonging to the Motor Rest SA and will open on October 1st 2006. A fully soundproofed modern hotel with a comprehensive logistical and security set up guaranteeing a relaxing stay for all its guests. The hotel also has a range of shopping possibilities, including a beauty shop and a gift shop. The Hotel Coronado offers its guests exclusive comfort and haute cuisine.

The restaurant and bars serve both international dishes and typical Ticino specialities. The Locanda, a family restaurant with a sheltered terrace and patio. Catering can also be provided in the Monte Orsa, Monte San Giorgo und Club meeting rooms. Guests can enjoy a drink until 1am at our welcoming American Bar located just off the hotel lobby. Our street café Piazzetta is open from early morning till late evening and our typical English Pub, open from 7pm until 1am, offers a range of foreign specialities.

Using solar power, we are able to produce most of the electricity required to cover our needs. This 12 kWh system can be visited by our guests with a guide (advance reservation required).
