Open Office
- Free and open source office productivity suite compatible with all major file formats. Works under Windows, Macintosh, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
- Can be used to view material encoded in Microsoft Word doc format (DOC).
- Can be used to view material encoded in Microsoft Excel format (XLS).
- Can be used to view material encoded in Microsoft PowerPoint format (PPT).

Video/Audio
A media player is required to access audio and/or video files, such as .rm, .ram, .wma, MP3 and others. To see if you have a media player installed on your computer, do this test:
- Open a sample RealAudio file.
- Open a sample Windows Media file.
- Open a sample MP3 file.
Real Player
- RealOne Player is required to view material encoded as RealAudio and RealVideo.
