Roland
Dietz, President and CEO, infuses Endeavor with a combination
of library and technology experience. Previously with Elsevier
for over 10 years prior to leading Endeavor, he brings
experience in working strategically with libraries to deliver
a focus to current and developing library needs. Roland
was instrumental in Elsevier's launch of several broadly-defined
commercial electronic products that have changed the ways
libraries search electronic content, including well-known
brands as ScienceDirect Onsite, ScienceServer and ScienceDirect
Online. At Elsevier he worked closely with diverse libraries
around the world to develop initiatives that concentrated
on enabling access to information now and in the future.
In addition
to his work with libraries of all sizes, Roland also brings
to Endeavor years of technical and software experience.
With previous strategic roles at Tulip Computers International
and Philips Electronic Industries, he was responsible for
the successful launch of various new hardware, software
and networking / data-integration product lines that provided
solutions for organizations of various sizes.
A founding
member and Chairman of the European Computer Manufacturers
Association's Market Research program, he is a member of
the board of directors of TICER (a librarian education and
consultancy program founded by Tilburg University). He is
also a member of the New York New Media Association and an
honorary member of the board of Electrotechnical / Software
Engineering association of Delft University of Technology.
Roland oversees all aspects of library automation and digital
library integration products and services provided by Endeavor. |

Don
Muccino, Chief Operating Officer, comes to Endeavor after
27 years of progressive leadership at OCLC. Most recently
Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of the
globally recognized library database, research and services
vendor, Muccino demonstrated a strong commitment to present
and future customer needs while at OCLC. He oversees Endeavor’s
customer support, implementation service, data services,
information technology and operations. Under Muccino, Endeavor
can offer a broader array of new and traditional methods
of delivery and support of software systems and the services
that accompany those systems. |

Ralph Placzek, Chief Financial Officer,
brings years of accounting and management experience to Endeavor.
Prior to Endeavor, he was the CFO (and Vice President) of Webvan,
an online grocery delivery service, managing all finance and
facility maintenance activities. Ralph has also held several
high-level finance positions in other industries as well. At
Endeavor, his responsibilities include managing all aspects of
the finance/accounting and operations/administration departments. Ralph
earned a BS in Accountancy from De Paul University and a MBA
in Finance and Marketing from the Kellstadt Graduate School of
Business, De Paul University. He is also a Certified Public
Accountant and a Certified Managerial Accountant. |

Verne
Coppi, Vice President of Development, has 25 years of
software development experience. For 14 of those years, he
developed large, transaction-intensive banking systems for
NBD Bank (formerly State National Bank). For six years, he
was the Manager of Development at NOTIS Systems, where he
acquired both mainframe and client/server experience and
served as manager of the NOTIS Horizon project. Verne oversees
all aspects of the Voyager and digital library development
teams, as well as managing the business analysts and the
quality assurance and documentation departments. |

Louis P. Leuzzi, Vice President
of Global Sales – Lou has an extensive background in the software
industry, with almost 25 years of professional experience serving
in executive sales and professional services roles. Prior to
joining Endeavor, he was the principal at Tintoria, Inc., a business
consultancy firm focused on supporting venture-backed, privately
held software companies. As vice president of Worldwide Sales
and Marketing for Vanguard Solutions Group, a business intelligence
and analytic solutions provider, he was instrumental in doubling
annual revenue while expanding the company’s worldwide partnership
program. Prior to joining Vanguard, he was vice president, Worldwide
Sales and Consulting for Questra Corporation, where he helped
transition the company from a system integrator to an enterprise
software provider. He has also held executive positions with
Vastera, Inc. and Marcam Corporation and began his career with
Xerox Corporation. Lou holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business
Administration from Park University. |

Brad Baumgartner, Director
of Global Business Development
– Brad brings more than ten years of library market experience
to Endeavor. Prior to joining Endeavor Information Systems he
led successful sales careers at Dynix and The Library Corporation
(TLC). Brad's role at Endeavor includes direct supervision of
the sales organization in the Americas, management of several
large university clients, working with the marketing organization
to develop and launch new products and services as well as coordination
with the Elsevier sales organization in the Americas. Brad is
a graduate of Indiana University. |

David Carlson, Director of Customer Support,
leads Endeavor's Customer Support department, including Library
Support, Technical Support, and Digital Software Support areas.
While with Endeavor in the late 90s, Dave grew the functional
and technical support teams through a time of tremendous growth
for the company and returned in 2004 to lead Endeavor's customer
support teams. He has extensive experience working with large
and active call center and customer service environments from
progressive leadership positions at prominent companies including
Corporate Express, Ameritech Cellular and Paging, Follett Software
Company, and Apple Computer. He earned a BS in Management from
National-Louis University. |

Randy Frink, Director of Marketing, oversees
Endeavor's expanding marketing activities and presence around
the globe. With more than 14 years of software and technology
industry marketing experience, Randy directs the strategy and
implementation of the company’s marketing communications,
public relations, events and sponsorships. Prior to joining Endeavor,
Randy has held key marketing roles at technology companies such
as SPSS Inc., Divine InterVentures and Spyglass. He is a graduate
of Creighton University. |

Robert Gerovski, Director of Development
, will oversee development programming for Endeavor's complete
line of existing and emerging library software systems. Previously
Director of Software Engineering for Trifus', a leading provider
of content integration technology solutions for multi-vendor
e-learning systems, Gerovski brings an established history of
leading elite, high-performance, and efficient development teams.
With experience in a variety of standard and emerging technologies
from progressive development positions at Cyborg System, TV Guide
Channel, SpaceLabs Medical, Intellistor, METRUM Information Storage
and Auto-trol Technology, Gerovski will lead Endeavor's team
of programmers and product architects. |

Jim Miesse, Director of Product Delivery
and Quality, has over 20 years of automated library services
experience including managing implementation services at NOTIS.
In addition to his years as a professional librarian managing
circulation and systems groups, Jim has a full range of customer
service experience including customer support, data conversion,
training and implementation. Jim was previously Endeavor's Director
of Customer Service. In his current role, he is responsible for
quality assurance, documentation, beta support and packaging
for all Endeavor products. |

Sara Randall, Director of Strategic Products,
oversees the direction of Endeavor's current digital asset management
systems and an emerging line of software systems aimed to continue
to aid libraries and institutions to deliver access to information.
Co-chair of the Search-Retrieve Task Group of the NISO Metasearch
Initiative, she has an extensive career in academic and research
libraries as well as the library software industry. Previously
Director of Library Systems for the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign;
Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Academic Library Consortium,
Inc. (PALCI); and Head of Automated Systems at Loyola University
of Chicago; she has also held several progressive roles at NOTIS
and Amigos Library Services. |

Jeroen Reiniers, Director of Sales - APAC.
Most recently based in Singapore as the Business Development
Manager for LexisNexis - Asia Pacific, Jeroen collaborates with
libraries of all kinds in many regions of the world. Previously
the Market and Account Development Manager for Elsevier-Asia
Pacific, Jeroen established successful initiatives for proactive
customer-focused communication. In addition to work in Southeast
Asia with LexisNexis, Elsevier and Reed Elsevier, he has held
customer-focused positions in The Netherlands and the United
Kingdom. |

Kristen Stenglein, Director of Product
Releases and Internal Operations - In her current role at Endeavor,
Kristen is responsible for the management of the company's MIS,
Internal Systems, and Product Integration teams. Working in
collaboration with Endeavor's product management and development
teams, Kristen oversees the product release schedule for the
company's suite of library management solutions. Kristen has over 14
years of software industry experience, including positions at
Motorola, JGSullivan Interactive, and Speakeasy Computing Corp.
Kristen joined Endeavor as an original employee during the company's inception
in 1994. She served in variety of roles, including technical
writer, project manager, and release coordinator, returning to
Endeavor's Services team in 2005. She is a graduate of Marquette
University and earned a Master of Science in Technical Communication and
Information Design from the Illinois Institute of Technology. |

Tim Tamminga, Director of Business Development, Archive Solutions
- Tim brings considerable expertise and more than 20 years
experience in application solution marketing to Endeavor.
Tim joined Endeavor as the company's Director of Science Server/Major
Account Sales. Tim has also served as the product manger for
Journals Onsite. Prior to joining Endeavor, Tim spent time
in various sales and marketing leadership positions at NOTIS,
Geac and Ovid. He also served in the sales division at SCT,
and most recently was the Director of Sales at ObjectWave,
a Chicago-based software development consulting service.
Tim is the author of "Preservation
- Partnership Tackles Archiving Challenge," an article highlighting
the relationship between Endeavor, Elsevier and Sun Microsystems,
and how these organizations are collaborating to address the
growing need for preserving information "born digital."
The article was published in the April/May 2006 issue of
Research Information. Tim has an undergraduate degree
from York University in Toronto. He holds a Masters in
Environmental Studies, also from York, as well as a Masters
in Library Sciencev from the University of Toronto. |

Gregor van Essen, Director of Sales - EMEA,
joined Endeavor from Elsevier Science, where he managed sales
in the Asia Pacific region. Based in Singapore, Gregor supervised
a territory including India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia
and New Zealand and played a key role in introducing Elsevier
Science's digital library solutions into those areas. Gregor
oversees Endeavor's sales efforts in the UK and Europe from his
headquarters in Endeavor's London office. |

Linda Voyles, Director of Customer
Relations, is responsible for Endeavor's global customer relations
activities and customer communications. Linda has over ten years
experience in libraries and the library software industry. During
her tenure with Endeavor, she has worked with many National Libraries
and large statewide consortia in both implementation and account
management functions. Linda is a graduate of Carleton College
and has earned a MLS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,
and an MBA from The Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. |
