Elearningforce DK is very happy to inform you about this new release:
MultisitesSearch component for Mambo
This component can search content/items on all the Mambo sites that are listed in the component setup.
You can list all the sites to search you want, but you of course must have access rights to the databases.
And it can be done on all the servers you list in the setup!!!
You can even choose which prefix to use if you have different prefixes in a database - when adding a site the component contact the database to test the connection!!!
The search result is shown in a menu item from a normal component link.
Choose to search in:
* Categories
* Newsfeeds
* Contacts
* Sections
* Content
* Weblinks |

New Board of Directors elected to Mambo Foundation |

 The Mambo Foundation has recently carried out their first Annual General Meeting and voting for the 2006-2007 Board of Directors on 1 July 2006. The votes have been tallied and based on the votes cast by the membership, the new Board of Directors will be as follows:
- President- Ric Shreves
- Vice- President- Akarawuth Tamrareang
- Treasurer- Paulino Michelazzo
- Secretary- Alain Schmalz
- Ordinary Director- Marco Rossi
On behalf of Mambo Communities, we would like to congratulate the new board of Directors. The new Directors will begin their term of office on 1 August of this year.

On 1st – 2rd July 2006, MamboHub.com co-operated with SIPA (Software Industry Promotion Agency : the government organization) went to Loei province to train Sub-District(Tambon) Administration Office at Loei to create their websites by Mambo with the assistance of Arjarn Kerng (gotoloei.com), an instructor of Loei Ratchapat University .
The objective of this program is to build website for local organizations. MamboLaiThai (Mambohub) team has created a Mambo package for these local organization which contain a useful module such as web board, gallery, organization chart and so on. From this project, we got 52 people form 22 local organizations joined the training and 22 Mambo websites at the moment. Moreover, on 17th – 18th July, There is another class of local organizations to be trained to create websites with Mambo, currently we have more than 30 people registered to attend the training.

 Mambo Communities has recently form a partnership with Webzo to offer a whole range of Mambo Flash Tutorials on the Mamboserver.com sites. There are 12 tutorials available.
Webzo offers a unique service, they specialize in the design and development of flash tutorials, and they do it absolutely free. What is the catch? Like us, they are interested in building partnerships and in return they just want to be recognised and given credit for their work.
