FSA Firm Check Service

Why is authorisation important?

Always check a firm is authorised by the FSA, or is the agent of an authorised firm - before you do business with them. If they are not authorised and things go wrong you will not have access to complaints procedures and compensation schemes.

You need to know the name of the firm and it may help to know the postcode.

Simply enter these details and our register of firms will tell you whether they are on our list and what business they can do.

If you have any difficulties using the Register please call the
