It's been described as - the Mediterranean as it always was.
The culture has a vibrant yet relaxed approach to life in a setting encourages one to soak up the sun and nature. Many civilisations have passed through this small but extrardinary country and appear to have left hints of both mediterranean and eastern flavours. The seas have been plied for centuries by Greeks and Romans who have left their mark on the land and islands. The cuisine is simple but full of flavour and promise, the sea crystal clear and hillsides with fantastic views - and fresh air.

We had a great time making sure some of our people had a great time on the hills and sailing the waters between Split and the islands near Mljet.
This was one time where the mix of sailing (Island hopping) and sampling the local fare at waterside cafes in the sun was pretty hard to improve on.
