A collision Monday morning on U. S. 17 at the Magnolia Greens entrance resulted in the first fatality on the highway’s “Superstreet” since the traffic pattern became operational in May.

Tennis with Love
All eyes turned skyward as participants in the Brunswick County Tennis Association’s youth clinics watched a high-flying ball sail over the fence of the Smithville District Park courts.
“Wow, there was a lot of power in that stroke,” exclaimed BCTA volunteer tennis instructor Americus Crawford. “That’s okay, try again.”
