On July 11, 2006 a reported 7 explosions occurred along the Western Rail Line in Mumbai, India. The first blast occurred at approximately 1820 local time, near the Khar Rail Station. The ensuing explosions killed at least 188 people. Indian police officials have stepped up security throughout India. An investigation into the attacks is ongoing.
