Fly Tying Pool

The Fly Pool is a new, fun way for fly tyers to exchange their tying creations with others around the world. You create and send in 6 to 15 of one of your fly patterns and choose one each of 6 to 15 of those in the fly pool in exchange for each one you tied. As more tyers send in their personal favorites, the choice grows. You can save up your choices if you do not want to select flies immediately.

Please read the FAQ Page for details on how it works and what you do.
You can also swap flies at FlySwaps.com if you prefer themed swaps with set completion dates.

You first must LOGIN or Register for Free to submit your flies.
It only takes 10 seconds.

The fly patterns displayed here include photos, materials, and instructions so you can recreate them at your own desk. The only limitation to what you can create is your imagination. With some practice, you can make any of these flies and enjoy using them to catch your own fish on your next fly fishing trip to Montana, Argentina, or anywhere in the world.
Please join us by contributing your creations and receiving a selection of hand-tied flies from other hobbiests like yourself. It's a great way to learn a little more about anglers in other countries.
Thank you for visiting the Fly Pool today!
