2006 Marine Weather Services Handbook from Marinecall

The FREE Marine Weather Services Handbook has proved such an invaluable source of reference info for sailors it is now in its 6th year of publication.

HandbookLaugh at the weather with Peyton and new easy-see, easy-read format!

Extending to 70 pages, Marinecall’s handbook looks different this year. Its new square size will make it easy to spot among charts, log book and pilot guides. The text has gone up a point size or two and is printed in dark ink on a white background to make it quick and easy to read.

Essential information such as how to receive Met Office forecasts via Marinecall telephone services (including fax, phone, mobile phone and Internet) is punctuated with classic Mike Peyton cartoons to add a bit of light relief to the serious business of weather forecasting and navigation.

The 2006 Marine Weather Services Handbook also includes maps identifying Onshore and Offshore areas, marine safety guidelines and tide tables for Dover, Portsmouth and Plymouth, plus tidal differences for 200 other locations from April to September.
