Drop Ship Order Management
Cactus Complete Commerce is essential to your operation if you have drop ship items. Each item is linked to a drop ship supplier. When the batch runs automatically, you will receive a separate batch for each drop ship vendor with the items and addresses they need just to fill their orders. They will never see what else you are selling.
If a customer orders 10 items from 10 different drop shippers, you don't have to sort through it and decide what to send to each drop shipper. By automatically splitting the order into separate pdf files, you can easily print and fax the orders to each vendor, or send the pdf automatically via email.
Follow up is simple too. Each batch can be viewed to see what orders are still outstanding (i.e. don't have tracking numbers). You can even have your drop shipper log into Cactus Complete Commerce and enter tracking information if they are willing.
The automated batch process also ensures that you will never order a drop ship item only to find out later that the customer's credit card has declined. If it doesn't charge, you won't get the pdf. It's that simple.
Individual pdfs can be customized for each drop ship vendor too. For a small additional charge, we can design a custom document for each vendor. These can even be made to look like a purchase order!
Custom Smart Ports are also available to deliver orders via electronic transmission to the drop ship vendor. If your drop shipper can receive XML transmissions, we can set up a Smart Port to deliver orders directly into their system. Smart Ports are an additional cost and handled on a case by case basis.
