Homestay Applicant Payment Information:Due to amount of homestay applications that we receive, all homestay applicants must complete online application and pay a deposit amount of $150 Canadian dollars online via secure Paypal system. The deposit will be deducted from the total invoice when a suitable placement becomes available, but give the homestay application priority and credibility of the application with our team. We also like to work for committed applicants who are committed to work with VHA team. If we were unable to secure a suitable and acceptable placement for the applicant, the deposit is refundable at 90% due to banking charges. Please note that our clients enjoy 99% success rate of suitable homestay placements. We will send you the most suitable family profile first. When you review and accept host family, you will need to pay VHA the homestay fee, placement fee, and airport pick up and healthcare insurance costs when required; the invoice will also indicate a deduction of your online deposit. We will also email to you the bank transfer instructions to pay your invoice. Please note that if you stay more than three months, we require quarterly payments in order to receive continuous support regarding any homestay matters or possible disputes, we recommend paying quarterly (every three months in advance) Upon receipt of your payment, VHA will immediately reserve homestay family and pay monthly to host family on your behalf. Should you wish to end your homestay, you must give minimum 4 weeks notice to our agency to notify the host family.
