Wailea Marriott Hotel Information: Built in the mid-1970s as Wailea's first hotel, this low-rise resort was designed to honor the hillside's natural contours. The Marriott’s expansiveness is concealed beneath the vegetation, leaving the ocean as a primary focal point. The resort primarily draws vacation travelers.

Amenity highlights: Terraced into the hill so it looks straight out at the ocean, the central pool complex begins at the top with a pool and sundeck bordered by the Kumu Bar & Grill. An infinity pool on the bottom level seems to merge with the blue Pacific in the background. Two spas, a short waterslide with its own splash-down pool, and a children's pool complete the liquid attractions.
