Your website - asset or liability?

by Tim Barnett, 25-Feb-2005

These days, almost every company has a website – but have you asked yourself why you have it? Is it just because every one else has one or is it because you feel you need to demonstrate to your clients and customers that you are a technology aware company.
Many people have these or similar attitudes to their website, taking no time to understand who is using their site and what these users are trying to achieve, and as a consequence their website is doing more damage than good – turning away potential customers and poorly reflecting your brand.

If your website is not presentable and does not look professional, then why would a potential customer think differently about any other aspect of your business?

If content on your site is outdated, you could be providing incorrect information to clients, potentially tarnishing a relationship before it is started!

If your website users are doing product or service research and cannot find, or cannot find easily what they are looking for, chances are they will give up and leave your site for a competitor's.

How can you turn your site from a liability into an investment? Contact us now to find out how we can help you start to make this transformation.
